Prodigal Earth

Artist Bio
Prodigal Earth was formed around 1990 under the name Gangland. Army and studies abroad meant that the band would suspend all activities but they did manage to record their first demo, “Will to Live” in 1996 before taking a long break. The demo was a straight-forward melodic metal demo that showed that the band can write good songs and make itself known to the underground scene.
Ten years later, the boys (men) decided to reform the band and began rehearsing again and writing new songs, changing the band's name to Prodigal Earth. Their debut album, “Zenith II Zero”, was released in early 2009, containing some songs from that first demo, reworked and re-recorded. The album's cover was illustrated by renowned artist Thomas Ewerhard, well known for his work with Therion, Jorn, Tankard, Hammerfall and others.
In October 2009 the band provided excellent backing for legendary Paul Di Anno when he visited Cyprus for a show organised by Pitch Black Records. They met and surpassed all expectations and of course received the enthusiastic approval of Mr. Paul Di Anno!
