Cyprus Rocks ’17 Festival
Pitch Black Records proudly supports CYPRUS ROCKS FESTIVAL – the ultimate festival for classic ROCK fans!
CYPRUS ROCKS FESTIVAL is organised for the first time in Cyprus, taking place in Protaras where it will last for an entire week, between October 4th and 11th. Appearing at the festival will be 15 bands, most of them hailing from the United Kingdom and considered to be some of the best tribute bands to legendary acts such as LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, BLACK SABBATH, AEROSMITH, KISS and others. Also appearing at the festival will be local acts BLUESWRECK and RUSTX.
During the week a variety of activities will be taking place at different locations but unquestionably the highlight will occur during October 6th and 7th at the Ayia Triada beach in Protaras where the following shows will take place (starting at 5pm until 11:30 at night):
Friday October 6th – LIVEWIRE (AC/DC), SACK SABBATH (BLACK SABBATH), WHO’ NEXT (THE WHO), RAINBOW IN ROCK (RAINBOW).
Saturday October 7th – LETZ ZEP (LED ZEPPELIN), TOXIC TWINS (AEROSMITH), HOTTER THAN HELL (KISS), DIO RISING (DIO).
The festival is organised by Iron Stallion Promotions aiming at establishing it as the ultimate rock holiday since its main audience is from abroad, mainly the UK where ticket presales are already moving exceptionally well.
